Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California USA. Her work includes actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film-maker born into a large household. She has worked in both fields. At the age of nine and acting, she made her debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e Bisogni. The year 1988 was the time she played the leading role in the first feature of Cristina Comencini's film Zoo. She was also one of Michele's cast in The Church. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career took off, and she was able to transition from roles that were played by young girls, to larger, more sophisticated role. It was a huge success at the Cannes International Film Festival. Her father was in the film for the very debut time on Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento. Her mother, Daria Nicoleli, is the most adored actress of Argento, as she portrayed an orexic trying to track down her parents' killer. Asia's intense, absorbed acting skills were used to great effect in the film Condannato a nozze. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna the girl who was physically handicapped. This intricate and difficult character earned her the David di Donatello Award for Best Actress. The 1995 film she co-directed together with Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her an award from David diDonatello and the Grolla oro. Asia's debut short film was a scene from the De Generazione movie. Two years following, Asia became a director and completed two other films. The first, AbelAsia a tribute for her father. Asia debuted as a director in 1999 when she directed Scarlet Diva. It was also the main screenwriter and actress. The film came out in on May 1, 2000 in Italy as well as all over the world. The Williamsburg Festival of Film held in Brooklyn, New York awarded it a award.
