Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she sang in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Communications. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became engaged in theater and began acting as well as choreographing over 2 dozen plays and musicals like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title parts in Los Angeles' Award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started to get film and television roles as she studied improvisation in The Groundlings. Kelly's distinct voice and diminutive size have enabled her to portray a range of different roles. Her role alongside Naomi Watts as Samara the antagonist on The Ring 2 is well acknowledged, however, she's more well-known for her role as the vibrant receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the part of an attorney and a party animal on TV Land's The Exes as a Series regular between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, she played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She's lent her singing soprano to a variety of animated shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. She was most recently seen on NBC's cult comedy Superstore as the dim, however charming Cloud 9 worker. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband and two young children and enjoys sewing writing and helping out at school events.
